Wrestlers And Matches Announced For Ring Of Honor In Texas

Ring of Honor is bringing some new names to Texas.

In March, Ring of Honor announced the return to Texas in the cities of Dallas and San Antonio. This week they began announcing the matches and talent who will be at the events.

On June 16th in Dallas there will be a Proving Grounds match with six wrestlers. If any of the wrestlers pin the Television Champion Silas Young, they will be given a Championship match immediately. If Young score a pin, the wrestler pinned can not challenge for the title for a year.

Davey Boy Smith Jr and Lance Archer are teaming up with the Briscoes at the June 15th show in San Antonio to take on four members of Bullet Club.

On June 16th, Smith and Archer have been scheduled for a Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship match against the Briscoes.

Also appearing on the two show Thunder Rosa who some fans may know as Kobra Moon on Lucha Underground. In San Antonio, she will be in a tag team match and in Dallas she will be in a singles match against Tenille Dashwood.

Ring of Honor had previously announced CMLL stars Atlantis, Stuka Jr, and Guerrero Maya Jr for the Texas shows as well. Those wrestlers were announced for the following six-man tag team match against So Cal Uncensored in San Antonio. In Dallas, the three Luchadores will take on the Kingdom in a Championship match. 

Cody Rhodes and Jonathan Gresham will be in a singles match against each other in San Antonio and then in Dallas Cody Rhodes will face Shane Taylor.

The Boys are scheduled for two tag team matches as they take on Matt Taven and Vinny Marseglia in San Antonio and the Young Bucks on June 16th in Dallas.

Jay Lethal will be in a couple matches. He will wrestle the Kingdom's TK O'Ryan on June 15th and then a triple threat match was set up for the following night with two other Being the Elite cast members in Flip Gordon and Marty Scurll.

Flip Gordon has another match on June 15th against Rhett Titus.

In the press releases for the events, ROH did not mention if the shows will be broadcasted on Honor Club or television.
