Zack Sabre Jr. is the latest winner of the G1 Climax tournament.
On August 18th, New Japan Pro Wrestling held the final event of their G1 Climax 34 tournament, with Zack Sabre Jr. and Yota Tsuji facing off in the finals. The match would be a back and forth affair, with both men having their strong and weak points in the bout. In the end, Sabre Jr. would force Yota to submit in order to win the tournament.
Since the victory in the early hours of the morning for US fans, reactions have come in from around the wrestling world for only the second gaijin to win the tournament.
