Naomi And Mickie James Return; Legends And NXT Stars Headline WWE Women's Royal Rumble Surprises

During the 2021 Women's Royal Rumble, Fightful will keep an ongoing list of surprise entrants including returns and debuts. WWE has announced 16 names for the Women's Royal Rumble. You can find a list of confirmed participants by clicking here.

- Naomi made her return, entering the match at number two. Naomi had not wrestled since the August 21, 2020 episode of SmackDown. She underwent surgery to remove a fibroid in September 2020. She was drafted to Raw during the 2020 WWE Draft.

- Shotzi Blackheart from NXT entered at number five. She also made a surprise entrance in the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble.

- Toni Storm from NXT entered at number seven. She also made a surprise entrance in the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble.

- Jillian Hall made a surprise entrance at number eight. She had not wrestled in WWE since 2010.

- Victoria made a surprise entrance at number ten. She had not wrestled in WWE since 2009.

- Santana Garrett from NXT entered at number 12. This marked her first appearance in the Women's Royal Rumble.

- Rhea Ripley from NXT entered at number 14. She also made a surprise appearance in the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble.

- Torrie Wilson made a surprise entrance at number 17. She was in the 2018 Women's Royal Rumble and competed in the 20-woman battle royal at WWE Evolution.

- Mickie James made her return at number 19. She had not wrestled since September 21, 2020. She suffered a broken nose in October but was cleared as of January. She was not part of the 2020 WWE Draft pool.

- Alicia Fox made a surprise entrance at number 21. She had not wrestled since April 2019. She also wrestled in the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble.

- Dakota Kai from NXT entered at number 23. She was also part of the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble.

- Carmella, who had not declared or been officially announced for the match, entered at number 24. She failed to capture the SmackDown Women's Championship earlier in the night against Sasha Banks.

- Lana made her return at number 26. She had not wrestled since December 14, 2020. She was attacked by Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler on the December 14 WWE Raw and was not medically cleared to compete for WWE TLC.

- Ember Moon from NXT entered at number 28. She competed in the 2018 and 2019 Women's Royal Rumble.
