WWE Allows Pete Dunne And Tyler Bate To Appear At Destiny Wrestling Event In January

WWE makes an exception for Destiny Wrestling.

Days after it was reported that NXT UK talent could no longer appear at non-WWE partnered events, Destiny Wrestling announced that WWE made an exception for their Fifth Anniversary event in January.

WWE SmackDown (11/22/2024) Results: Kevin Owens & Cody Rhodes Face-to-Face, Women's US Title Tourney

Destiny Wrestling clarified that the show will not be part of a streaming service, which helps explain why Dunne and Bate are able to appear.

As previously reported, NXT UK talent can continue to work for WWE partnered promotions and select non-partnered promotions, but they cannot face anyone currently working for a major company (ROH, NJPW, IMPACT, RevPro, etc) and the matches cannot be filmed for distribution.
