The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) are out with injury.
WWE SmackDown GM Nick Aldis announced that the Street Profits suffered injuries at recent live events and would be out "for the foreseeable future." He noted they were a re-aggravation of previous injuries.
As a result of their injuries, DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) will now defend their WWE Tag Team Titles against Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) on Friday's WWE SmackDown.
The Street Profits defeated Los Garza (Angel & Berto) on the December 27th episode of WWE SmackDown. They wrestled one night later in a four-way tag team match as part of the WWE Live Holiday Tour.
