WWE Announces Sami Zayn Suffered A Partially Torn Meniscus On 12/11 WWE Raw

Sami Zayn has been sidelined, and WWE provided an update.

On the December 4 episode of WWE Raw, Sami Zayn had a heated confrontation with Drew McIntyre ahead of their match. Zayn questioned whether McIntyre's family would be proud of him, and his comments infuriated the former WWE Champion. McIntyre displayed his new ruthless streak during their bout, and he targeted Zayn's leg after the latter seemingly injured it.

McIntyre still wasn't satisfied with the win. He blindsided Zayn backstage and viciously stomped on his leg. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce proceeded to call for medical officials, as Zayn was clearly hurt.

On the December 11 episode of WWE Raw, Jey Uso told Zayn to get well soon. McIntyre noted that he left Zayn with one good leg, and broadcaster Michael Cole announced that Sami was out of action due to a partially torn meniscus. Cole stated that Zayn was still being evaluated, and additional details were unclear.
