What is The Bump?
On Sept. 16, WWE filed a trademark for "WWE's The Bump" for broadcast media use, indicating that they would be launching a new show under that name. Today, Sept. 25, an unverified Twitter page @WWETheBump launched with a video featuring the audition tape of Evan Mack from Aug. 21. The video begins by noting that Mack's audition is for "internal use only."
Mack's previous work includes producing a WWE aftershow and hosting Women's Wrestling Weekly podcast on Afterbuzz TV. According to his LinkedIn profile, he signed on as a production assistant for WWE in June and became an on-air personality in September.
Though The Bump account is unverified at this time, the official WWE account retweeted the video and the account only follows three verified WWE accounts. The account is followed by the same verified WWE accounts along with Mack and recently signed on-air talents Matt Camp and McKenzie Mitchell.

PWInsider reports that The Bump will be a morning talk-show style series. The reported idea for the show is to be a "light and fun talk show mixed with ESPN Sportscenter."
The show is set to premiere Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. ET on WWE social media channels and WWE Network.
