WWE Cancels Talking Smack To Move To Post-PPV Only And People Aren't Happy, WWE Comments

WWE has brought an end to one of its most critically acclaimed shows, WWE Talking Smack.

The post-Smackdown talk-show, often hosted by Renee Young, blurred the lines between real personalities and kayfabe characters. Last Tuesday's episode will serve as the last, with the new schedule being a post-PPV only one.

The program gained buzz last year when The Miz and Daniel Bryan argued on-air, which is largely attributed to the rise of The Miz over the past year. Kevin Owens, AJ Styles, The Usos and several others have seen their personalities shine through during appearances.

While the primary hosts were Renee Young and Daniel Bryan, the likes of Shane McMahon, Peter Rosenberg and JBL have also appeared.

Several fans and media chimed in on the move:

WWE reached out to Fightful.com to comment on the story, saying "We continuously review WWE Network’s programming line-up based on a variety of factors, including viewership and subscriber research. Talking Smack and Raw Talk will air following pay-per-view events, and Tuesday will continue to feature 205 LIVE."
