WWE has confirmed Edge’s triceps injury.
At WWE Backlash 2020, Edge and Randy Orton took part in the “Greatest Wrestling Match Ever” but it did not come without its casualties.
As first reported by Fightful Select, Edge suffered a torn triceps in the bout. Dave Meltzer would later report that the injury occurred during a re-filming of the match.
WWE has now confirmed the injury and notes that the WWE Hall of Famer has already undergone successful surgery and is rehabbing at home.

WWE Digital has confirmed that Edge suffered a torn triceps as a result of injuries sustained during The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever. Edge has undergone successful surgery and is currently rehabbing at home.
The Rated-R Superstar faced Randy Orton in a grueling test of in-ring skills at WWE Backlash. Both competitors were pushed to the brink, but The Viper prevailed over his former friend in the highly intense match.

Edge’s best friend, Christian told WWE digital that he is looking forward to seeing a better version of his childhood friend return once his torn triceps is all healed up.

Randy Orton is currently scheduled to open up the 6/15 episode of WWE Raw and will address everything that happened at Backlash 2020.
