Dr. Amann's lawyer did not want the jury to hear about his relationship with two wrestlers.
According to David Bixenspan's article at DeadSpin.com, Amann's lawyer motioned to keep some depositions from being brought up during the court case against CM Punk and Colt Cabana. The motions kept the jury from finding out that Dr. Chris Amann had a sexual and romantic relationship with former WWE wrestler Jillian Hall while she worked with WWE. It was also revealed he had a relationship with a female wrestler who tried out for WWE twice.
DeadSpin reached out to Hall who confirmed she had a relationship with Amann.
Amann lost his lawsuit against CM Punk and Cabana on June 5th after around four years of litigation. CM Punk went on to compete and lose at UFC 225 the following Saturday.
