WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony And NXT TakeOver: Tampa Will Not Take Place As Scheduled

With WrestleMania 36 moving to the WWE Performance Center, the entire WrestleMania week schedule has changed.

WWE was set to hold its annual Hall of Fame ceremony on Thursday, Apr. 2 from the Amalie Arena in Tampa. Two nights later on Saturday, Apr. 4, NXT was set for its TakeOver: Tampa event, also at Amalie Arena. But due to the re-shuffling of venues, the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony and NXT TakeOver: Tampa won't go on as scheduled.

WWE issued the following statement to Fightful:

“The WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony and NXT TakeOver will not take place as previously scheduled. We will share further details as they become available.”

WWE was also set to host SmackDown on Friday, Apr. 3 and Raw on Monday, Apr. 6 from the Amalie Arena. The status of those events is currently unknown.

Along with moving WrestleMania 36 to Orlando, WWE has already moved past and future events to the WWE Performance Center, including Monday's WWE Raw.
