A Manhattan grand jury has voted to indict Donald Trump for his role in paying hush-money to a adult film star Stormy Daniels on the eve of the 2016 election. The indictment, sought by the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, isn’t public.

This marks the first time a former President has faced criminal charges.

Trump was reportedly caught off guard by the indictment.

Trump was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013 as part of the celebrity wing. Trump was part of WrestleMania 23 in a storyline with Vince McMahon. Bobby Lashley, representing Trump, defeated Umaga, representing McMahon, leading to McMahon getting his head shaved.

McMahon stepped down as WWE CEO on July 22, 2022 amid sexual misconduct and hush money allegations but returned to the board of directors in January 2023.
