A fan-favorite is coming back to toy shelves -- WWE Retro figures.
The Hasbro-style figures that many wrestling fans in the 1990s grew up on are making a return after a brief hiatus. WWE and Mattel had actually brought the line back in recent years to a lot of fanfare, but hadn't produced any new Retros in quite a while.
During a WWE figure reveal, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and "Mean" Gene Okerlund figures were shown in very early form. It was noted that these might not even be the final sculpts for the figures, but that Mattel and WWE "wanted the news out." It was also specified that there would be more news on the upcoming Retro figures at San Diego Comic Con. You can check out the teaser images below.
