Rey Mysterio has had a rough week.
At WWE Money in the Bank, he was choked out by Shayna Baszler and tossed over the roof and onto a second roof by King Corbin. The next night on WWE Raw, Seth Rollins jammed the eye of Mysterio into the ring steps.
When Rey was being evaluated by trainers, Rollins & Murphy came into the room, forcing the trainers to pull Mysterio away.
In a storyline update, WWE said Mysterio's condition is currently "critical."
Rey Mysterio’s injury status is still listed as critical. Doctors cannot properly assess the damage to his retina until the swelling subsides, as Rey is currently at-risk for infection.
Mysterio suffered an eye injury when Seth Rollins grinded his face into the corner of the steel ring steps.
