WWE posted a video highlighting Kairi Sane's farewell from the company.
A video on the company's YouTube channel showcased highlights of Sane's time with WWE, from winning the Mae Young Classic to her time with Asuka as the Kabuki Warriors and winning the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles.
A number of WWE's Japanese stars, from Shinsuke Nakamura to Asuka to Akira Tozawa, also chimed in to talk about Sane, sending her best wishes in her return to Japan and saying that they will miss her.
The end of the video saw Sane say, "Thank you for cheering me. I really, really appreciate it. I am a pirate, so never stop voyage, right? I'm going to next voyage. Bon Voyage! See you soon, ahoy!"
Sane last appeared on the July 27 episode of Raw as she was attacked by Bayley in the middle of Asuka's Raw Women's Title match against Sasha Banks. After the match, Sane posted a couple of farewell tweets, thanking WWE for her time in the company.
My time in the NXT & WWE locker rooms was incredible. Everyone was kind, funny, & talented, so every day was full of happiness. Also, I was saved by the supportive staff behind the scenes. I will forever love & respect all these professionals I had the pleasure of working with.--

I was able to accomplish so much in the last three years, but it wasn’t because of my ability or my strength. It was because of all of the constant, warm support from the fans. I am so thankful I could meet you all.
