Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight's edition of WWE RAW!
- We open tonight's show with the United States champion Damian Priest who comes out to the ring for his United States Championship Open Challenge before he's interrupted by Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, and Bobby Lashley and MVP, and the RAW Tag Team champions RKBRO before Bobby threatens to take the tag belts from RKBRO single-handedly. RKBRO decide to issue a challenge for the tag titles to Bobby and MVP before the two accept before everyone are interrupted by Sonya and Adam who announce that Damian will defend the United States title against Sheamus and Drew and Bobby and MVP will take on RKBRO.
Rhea Ripley (w/ Nikki A.S.H.) vs Shayna Baszler (w/ Nia Jax)
Rhea and Shayna exchange wrist locks and standing switches before Shayna takes Rhea down and focuses on her arm before Rhea stops her from stomping her elbow and Shayna drops Rhea with a roundhouse kick before beating on her and Rhea gets two off of an inside cradle. Shayna then kicks Rhea in the head and stomps her hand and traps it in the apron as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Shayna still in control of Rhea as she kicks her in the chest and plays to the crowd as Nikki looks on from ringside before Rhea comes back with a pair of rip cord clotheslines and a headbutt into a basement dropkick before hitting a northern lights suplex for two. Shayna goes for an armbar before Rhea gets to the ropes for the break before Rhea counters the Kirifuda Clutch and Nia lays out Nikki at ringside before the two exchange pins and Rhea pins Shayna for the win.
Winner: Rhea Ripley defeats Shayna Baszler via pinfall.
- After the match Nia immediately attacks and lays Rhea out before Shayna leaves Nia behind in frustration.
- We get a taped promo by the Viking Raiders as we go to commercial.
Viking Raiders vs Jinder Mahal & Veer (w/ Shanky)
Ivar and Veer start the match off before VR double team Veer for two and Veer drops Ivar with a flying shoulder tackle before tagging in Jinder who beats on Ivar in the corner until he drops him with a knee for two before Veer comes back in and hits a running splash in the corner. Ivar fights out of a straight armbar with a chin lock before cart wheeling and rocking Jinder before tagging in Erik who rocks Jinder with strikes and Jinder counters a suplex before Erik drops Jinder and suplexes Veer out of the ring before VR clear the ring and Ivar takes out Veer and Shanky with a cannonball off of the apron. Back in the ring Erik gets the blind tag before VR hit The Viking Experience to Jinder for the pin and the win.
Winner: Viking Raiders defeat Jinder Mahal and Veer via pinfall.
United States Championship Triple Threat Match
Damian Priest (c) vs Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus
The three face off before Sheamus attacks Drew and Damian and Drew beat Sheamus down before he slips out of the ring and Damian hits a flipping senton onto Sheamus at ringside before chopping and beating on Sheamus at ringside until Sheamus comes back and the two brawl as Damian looks on. Drew then whips Sheamus into Damian who hits a back drop to Sheamus into the time keeper's area and Drew beckons Damian back inside as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Drew and Damian in the ring before Sheamus comes back in and dumps Drew out of the ring before Damian locks in a triangle and Sheamus stacks him up for two before hitting the Irish Curse backbreaker and beats on Damian when he tries to rip his mask off before Drew gets back in and runs Sheamus over. Drew suplexes Sheamus before hitting a neckbreaker and Sheamus counters the Future Shock DDT and sends Drew into the post before Damian claps his ears and hits a spinning heel kick before hitting jumping back elbows in opposite corners and Drew counters South of Heaven. Damian and Drew exchange kicks before Drew clotheslines Damian over the top and hits a flipping senton onto Damian and Sheamus at ringside before Drew hits a falcon arrow back in the ring to Damian for a deep two count before chopping Damian in the corner and Sheamus comes back in. Sheamus then puts Drew in the tree of woe before Drew raises up and hits Sheamus with a German as he hits Damian with a superplex as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Sheamus and Drew in the ring as Sheamus hits Drew with an Alabama slam for two before headbutting Drew and locks in a Boston crab before Damian comes back in and roundhouse kicks Sheamus to break the hold before hitting South of Heaven for a near fall that Drew breaks up before the two exchange on their knees up to their feet. Sheamus Brogue Kicks Damian out of the ring when he goes for The Reckoning before Drew hits Sheamus with the Future Shock DDT and Sheamus hits Drew with a Brogue Kick when he's going for a Claymore for a near fall before hitting an air raid crash for a near fall. Damian then comes back in and hits Sheamus with a flurry before Drew Claymore's Sheamus out of the ring and Damian and Drew exchange strikes until Damian pins Drew with The Reckoning for the win.
Winner: Damian Priest retains his United States title by defeating Drew McIntyre and Sheamus via pinfall.
- After the match Drew and Damian have a stare-down before the two shake hands and Drew leaves as Damian celebrates.
- We get a video package for the WWE title match at Summerslam where Bobby Lashley defeated Goldberg to retain his title before we go to Goldberg commenting on Bobby rendering his teenage son unconscious with The Hurt Lock after the match before we go to Goldberg earlier today who says that he's coming for Bobby's soul rather than the WWE title.
- R-Truth and Akira dressed as a dog chase Reggie at a local park for the 24/7 title before Akira leaves in frustration.
Eva Marie vs Doudrop
Doudrop attacks Eva before the match and slams her before hitting a running senton and the referee informs the announcer that Eva is unable to compete.
Winner: Match never started.
- Backstage Charlotte is interviewed ahead of her match against Nia later tonight.
Karrion Kross vs Humberto Carrillo
Kross goes right after Humberto before beating him down in the corner and Humberto comes off of the top before countering a back suplex and Kross turns him inside out for two. Koss hits a float over suplex for two before stomping Humberto and dropping him with a back elbow for two before throwing Humberto head over heels into the corner. Kross covers Humberto for another two count before locking in a rear chin lock and Humberto gets to his feet before Kross suplexes him for two before Humberto hits a jawbreaker. Humberto drops Kross with a kick before hitting a running dropkick in the corner before snapping Kross' neck across the top rope and coming off of the top. Kross then knocks Humberto out of the air and hits a Doomsday into the Kross Jacket for the tap and the win.
Winner: Karrion Kross defeats Humberto Carrillo via submission.
Charlotte Flair vs Nia Jax
Nia rushes Charlotte who ducks out of the ring before taking her time getting back inside and the two lock up before Nia backs Charlotte to the ropes for the break. Nia counters a suplex before headbutting Charlotte and clotheslining her against the ropes before dropping her in the corner and missing a running hip attack in the corner. Charlotte stomps Nia and locks in a standing side headlock before Nia drops her with a shoulder block and chokes her in the ropes before Charlotte locks in a choke in the ropes. Charlotte traps Nia in the ropes and snaps her neck in the ropes before jumping on Nia's back before Nia yanks her down and hits a spine buster for two before Charlotte rolls out of the ring to regroup. Nia then goes out after Charlotte who gets back into the ring and hits a slingshot cross body as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Charlotte in control before she misses a moonsault and Nia slams her before Charlotte hits a side Russian leg sweep for two before chop blocking Nia and stomping her. Charlotte hits a leg DDT and mocks Nia before Nia counters a Figure Four and sends Charlotte face first into the middle turnbuckle. Nia then pins Charlotte with a one armed powerbomb for the pin and the win.
Winner: Nia Jax defeats Charlotte Flair via pinfall.
Omos (w/ AJ Styles) vs John Morrison
John uses his speed to overwhelm Omos before rocking him with kicks and Omos tosses John over the top rope and down onto the floor before going out after him and tossing him into the steps which John flips over before flipping back over the steps and ducking a clothesline before Omos drops him and tosses him back inside. Omos then flips John upside down into the ropes before hitting the Trunk Slam for the pin and the win.
Winner: Omos defeats John Morrison via pinfall.
AJ Styles vs Xavier Woods (w/ Omos)
Xavier chops AJ and sends him out onto the apron before countering a flying forearm off of the apron and dropping AJ across the top of the barricade before tossing him back inside for two before AJ comes back with a baseball slide and focuses on the leg of Xavier to set up the Calf Crusher before Xavier comes back with a northern lights suplex for two. AJ counters a suplex into an enzuigiri before Xavier counters a Styles Clash and puts AJ in the tree of woe before hitting a running dropkick in the corner for two before AJ locks in the Calf Crusher and forces Xavier to tap for the win.
Winner: AJ Styles defeats Xavier Woods via submission.
RAW Tag Team Championship Match
RKBRO (c) vs Bobby Lashley & MVP
Riddle and Bobby start the match off before MVP comes in after Bobby runs Riddle over and suplexes him for two before Riddle drives MVP into the corner and tags in Randy who stomps MVP and mocks Bobby before RKBRO double up on MVP for two and send him out of the ring as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Bobby and MVP in control of Riddle until he back flips into the corner and Randy tags himself in and punches MVP in the corner before hitting a powerslam and teasing an RKO before hitting Bobby with a draping DDT and teasing another RKO before MVP boots Randy and sends him into the post. Bobby beats Randy down in the corner and hits a neckbreaker before they counter each other and Riddle gets the blind tag and rocks Bobby with a Pele kick before hitting running forearms in the corner before Bobby counters an exploder. Riddle hits the Final Flash before going up top and hitting the Floating Bro for a near fall that MP breaks up before MVP dumps him out of the ring and boots Riddle before Riddle drops him with a kick and Randy sends Bobby into the post before Omos grabs Randy and Riddle kicks him through the ropes. Randy then drops AJ across the announce table before Riddle hits the Floating Bro to MVP for the pin and the win.
Winner: RKBRO retain their RAW Tag Team titles by defeating MVP and Bobby Lashley via pinfall.
- After the match Bobby immediately spears Riddle before Randy RKOs Bobby and RKBRO leave as we go off the air.
