WWE has announced the release of Zelina Vega.
With just two hours to go before SmackDown on Friday, November 13th, 2020, WWE announced they were releasing Zelina Vega aka Thea Trinidad.

PWInsider reports Vega has a 90-day non-compete clause.
Vega came into the company as the business associate of Andrade in NXT. The pair was then moved to WWE main roster in 2018 following a run on the black and gold brand where Andrade won the NXT Championship.
Zelina Vega had a prosperous 2020 in WWE. As the manager of Andrade, Angel Garza, and for a short length of time, Austin Theory, her teams were perpetually in the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship picture. After Vega decided to move away from them, she received two opportunities at the WWE Raw Women's Championship, including a match at the WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view.
Zelina Vega was moved to the SmackDown brand in the 2020 WWE Draft and had two appearances both of which were losing efforts. Vegas' husband, Aleister Black, is also a member of the Smackdown roster at this time.
According to information obtained by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, it looks like WWE made the decision, and Zelina caught wind of it.
Outside of the squared circle, Trinidad has been staying busy via Twitch streams and recently launched an OnlyFans account. WWE has come under fire recently due to an internal edict for Superstars to cut ties with all third-party platforms.
Just 10 minutes before her WWE release was announced by the company, Thea tweeted that she supports unionization. Paige has also been mentioning looking into unionization as of late.
I support unionization.

Following her release, Vega posted on her Instagram, "See you on Twitch." Vega would then take to Twitter and thank the WWE Universe, saying that she would have never been able to accomplish what she did if she didn't have the support she's had in her career.
I want to say thank you all very much for the last 3-4 years @WWEUniverse, it was incredible. I would have never have been able to say “this is for you dad” if certain people did not believe in me. I love you all and I couldn’t have done it without your support ---- pic.twitter.com/R4fI9r64Vm
