The WWE Women's Tag Team Championships are back.
When Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of WWE Raw back on May 16, the state of the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships become very cloudy. After nearly three months of silence regarding the titles, WWE announced on August 5 that the titles would be coming back in a tournament that would start on tonight's Raw.
Now, on the August 8 edition of WWE Raw, the full bracket for the tournament has been revealed. Eight teams are included in the field, with one of the matchups set to take place on tonight's episode. You can see the tournament matches below.
WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Tournament
- Tamina & Dana Brooke vs. Dakota Kai & IYO SKY (Set to take place on 8/8 WWE Raw)
- Alexa Bliss & Asuka vs. Nikki A.S.H & Doudrop
- Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah vs. Xia Li & Shotzi
- Natalya & Sonya Deville vs. Nikkita Lyons & Zoey Stark
The tournament will mark the debut of Lyons and Stark on WWE's main roster. Previously, the two women have spent time in NXT. Recently, Stark returned from injury.
