- Backstage Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair argue backstage ahead of Sasha's title defense against Nia Jax where Bianca says that she's not going to be there to save her before Sasha tells Bianca that she doesn't need her help.
Smackdown Women's Championship Match
Sasha Banks (c) vs Nia Jax (w/ Shayna Baszler)
Sasha is in control early before Nia avoids a Banks Statement and hits a military press for two before hitting an elbow drop for two before hitting a Samoan drop for two. Sasha then rolls out of the ring before Bianca comes out to ringside and cheers Sasha on as we go to commercial.
Nia hits a spinning sit-out side slam before focusing on the leg of Sasha and locking in a stretch muffler before swinging Sasha face first into the middle turnbuckle for two. Nia locks in an STF before reapplying the stretch muffler and Sasha counters into a sunset flip before hitting a reverse meteora for two. They counter each other until Sasha hits a tornado DDT and Sasha locks in the Banks Statement before Shayna gets into the ring and accidentally kicks Nia before Sasha covers her for the win.
Winner: Sasha Banks retains her Smackdown Women's Championship by defeating Nia Jax via pinfall.
- We get a recap of last week's main event contract signing which set up tonight's match between Edge and Jey Uso before we go backstage to an interview with Edge.
- Seth Rollins comes out to the ring as we go to commercial.
- We get a video package for Edge's career where he teamed with Hulk Hogan nineteen years ago to become tag champions.
- Backstage Nia yells at Shayna for costing her her shot at the Smackdown Women's title before Shayna says that she's going to get a match against Bianca and redeem herself.
- We go back to the ring to Seth talking about how Cesaro disrespected him and embarrassed him before says Cesaro is jealous of him and that he's a fighter. We get a recap of Seth taking out Cesaro with a curb stomp before he was stopped by officials when he was going to hit one with Cesaro's neck inside of a chair. Seth is interrupted by Shinsuke Nakamura who gets into the ring and takes the mic from Seth before telling him to shut up and Shinsuke rocks him with a wheel kick before Seth escapes a Kinshasa. Seth then comes back in and gets hit with a uranage before hitting a Kinshasa and leaving.
The Street Profits vs The Mysterios
Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, the Smackdown Tag Team champions join at ringside before the match before Ford and Dom start the match off by exchanging arm drags. Ford then hits a big angle back drop driver for two before Rey saves Dom from a Doomsday Device and Dom rolls Ford up with a jack knife for the pin and the win.
Winner: The Mysterios defeat The Street Profits via pinfall.
- After the match Alpha Academy come out to the ring and mocks Rey and Dom before the Mysterios clear the ring and Dom takes out AA with a springboard cross body as we go to commercial.
Alpha Academy vs The Mysterios
We come back from the break to the match already in progress as Rey counters a suplex from Chad before hitting a 619 and Dom knocks Otis off of the apron before Otis crotches Rey. Otis comes in and he and Chad hit a suplex into a falling headbutt and a pair of scoop slams before whipping Rey sternum first into the corner. Otis drops Rey with a double ax handle before locking in a bear hug and Rey bites his way free before Otis hits another scoop slam. Otis misses a falling headbutt before Rey hits a basement dropkick and gets the tag to Dom as Chad comes in and Dom drops him repeatedly. Dom hits a head scissors into a sunset flip for two before hitting a tornado DDT for a near fall that Otis breaks up before Rey knocks Otis out of the ring.
Otis then sends Rey into the barricade before Dom hits a head scissors and Chad counters a 619 into a German before Otis hits a diving splash off of the second rope for the pin and the win.
Winner: Alpha Academy defeat The Mysterios via pinfall.
- Backstage Sami Zayn talks to Kevin Owens and Sami asks Kevin to join him at ringside for his match against Baron Corbin before Kevin reluctantly agrees.
- Daniel Bryan then comes out to the ring as we go to commercial.
- We come back from the break to Daniel in the ring where he talks about how he's going to submit Roman at Fastlane and become the new Universal champion before Roman and Paul come out to the ring. Roman gets into the ring and says DB is lying and that he doesn't have a chance of tapping him out before they go to leave and Daniel says that he's going to break Roman.
Sami Zayn (w/ Kevin Owens) vs Baron Corbin
Sami chokes Baron in the ropes before Baron clotheslines him and beats on him in mount before hitting a running clothesline in the corner. Baron runs into the post before Sami gets a near fall with his feet on the ropes before taking the top turnbuckle pad off and Baron hits him with The End of Days for the pin and the win.
Winner: Baron Corbin defeats Sami Zayn via pinfall.
- After the match Sami yells at Kevin at ringside before knocking him out with a Helluva Kick.
- We get a satellite interview with the Intercontinental champion Big E and the challenger for his title at Fastlane Apollo Crews. E tells Apollo to appreciate the air, and the normal functioning of his limbs and the present because his future is dark and will get everything that he deserves. Apollo says that he deserves is the Intercontinental Championship and that he's going to crack E's face and celebrate with his ancestors. E then chases Apollo down in a golf cart before the two brawl and E hits him with a trash can before throwing him into the wall and they're separated by security. Apollo then escapes in the golf cart while officials hold E back.
Bianca Belair vs Shayna Baszler (w/ Nia Jax)
Sasha comes out before the match and tells Bianca that she's got this before leaving as Shayna tosses Bianca out of the ring and drags her back inside. Nia leaves Shayna at ringside and goes to the back before Bianca hits a spine buster and they're both attacked by Natalya and Tamina for the double disqualification.
Winner: No Contest due to double interference.
- After the match Natalya and Tamina attack both Bianca and Shayna and leave them lying.
Edge vs Jey Uso
Edge overwhelms Jey with his superior strength and focuses on his arm before locking in a standing cross face before they end up at ringside where Jey sends Edge into the steps. Jey then hits a suicide dive that sends Edge into the announce table as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Jey in control of Edge, driving him into the barricade, and the apron before sending him into the post and stretching him around it. They run into each other with a cross body before Edge hits a diving knee off of the second rope and Jey hits a Samoan drop for two before Edge hits a frankensteiner. Edge counters a superkick into a DDT before Jey superkicks Edge when he goes for a spear before Jey hits a frog splash for a near fall. Edge then wrings the arm of Jey and drives him down onto the mat before finishing Jey with a spear for the pin and the win.
Winner: Edge defeats Jey Uso via pinfall to become the special enforcer for the Universal Championship match at Fastlane.
- After the match Roman comes out and spears both Edge and Daniel as we go off the air.
