Ivar challenged for the gold on WWE Speed.
Dragon Lee defended the WWE Speed Championship against Ivar on the March 19th episode of WWE Speed. Lee took the fight to Ivar right away and used his quickness to counter Ivar’s strength. He sent Ivar to the outside and dove onto him. Lee got Ivar back in the ring and hit him with a crossbody. He hit a running dropkick in the corner.
Ivar fired up and overpowered Lee. Lee answered with some kicks. He picked Ivar up and hit a Death Valley Driver. Ivar countered a crossbody and slammed Lee. Lee evaded a moonsault and hit a running knee strike. Ivar leveled him with a kick and powerbombed him for a two-count. Lee then caught Ivar with a crucifix pin and got the three count to clinch the win.

Ivar earned a title shot by defeating Dominik Mysterio in the finals of a tournament to crown a new contender.
