Ahead of tonight's EVOLVE Wrestling event in Chicago, Illinois, WWE United Kingdom Champion, WALTER was the victim of a smash-and-grab where the championship belt was stolen.
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the rental car that WALTER was riding in what is the target of a smash-and-grab where the championship along, with WALTER's passport, was stolen.
It is also being reported that EVOLVE and MLW star Timothy Thatcher had items stolen as a result of this smash-and-grab as well.
The report notes that according to local wrestlers, Logan Square in Chicago has been the scene of several robberies as of late. WALTER will be wrestling in Chicago tonight at EVOLVE 142 against EVOLVE Champion Josh Briggs.
WALTER was in Chicago just two weeks ago for the events of Survivor Series 2019 weekend. He competed in the Men's Survivor Series Elimination Match where he was eliminated early on at the hands of Drew McIntyre.
WALTER won the WWE United Kingdom Championship from Pete Dunne at NXT TakeOver: New York over WrestleMania weekend and is slated to face Joe Coffey at NXT UK: TakeOver: Blackpool 2020 on January 11, 2020,
