Daniel Bryan has officially been added to the main event of WrestleMania 37, making it a Triple Threat on Sunday, April 11.
After a month of conflict, Roman Reigns now knows that he will defend his WWE Universal Championship against both Daniel Bryan and Edge in the main event of the second night of WrestleMania 37.
For the duration of the March 26 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Edge, Daniel Bryan, and Roman Reigns debated over what the main event of WrestleMania 37 should be. Daniel Bryan suggested that he challenge Roman Reigns on SmackDown for the championship and when that was declined, he suggested that he challenge for the title the second night after Edge and Roman Reigns determine who the true champion is on the first night.
Finally, at the end of the night, Adam Pearce laid down the law and made it official by stating that Daniel Bryan would be added to the match, making the main event of the second night of WrestleMania 37 a Triple Threat. Fightful had previously reported that the match was slated to become a Triple Threat on Sunday when the WWE Fastlane pay-per-view went off the air.
This would then end in a major brawl with Edge going crazy and laying everybody out with a chair including several auxiliary members of WWE personnel who came out trying to stop the brawl.
