Appearing in a trophy awarding celebration alongside MSK, the winners of the men's tournament, Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez we're interrupted by the incumbent WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. This was a homecoming for Shayna Baszler, who hasn't been in NXT since leaving for the main roster in 2020.

Shayna said that Dakota Kai was still the same scared little girl she's always been, while Raquel reminded both women that they have never crossed paths with her. Raquel was also the one to announce that the match will take place in two weeks on March 3.

In addition to the women's match, it was also made official later in the evening that MSK will receive their NXT Tag Team Championship opportunity on March 3 as well.

Ask for next week's episode, Santos Escobar must face Karrion Kross as he was scheduled to this week and if he chooses not to, William Regal will strip him of his WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

Also, Xia Li has promised to “purge” Kacy Catanzaro next week after Kacy and Kayden Carter once again tried to reason with Xia.

Elsewhere in wrestling on that evening, Shaquille O'Neal will be stepping inside the ring with Jade Cargill to go against Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet. In MLW, two championships will be on the line. Learn more about that at this link.
