Mick Foley says Tyson Fury is made for the world of pro wrestling.
Tyson Fury is a world renowned boxer who recently retired from the sport, with a history of title wins behind him. At his peak, Fury would appear in WWE, even wrestling Braun Strowman previously before cameoing at WWE Clash At The Castle 2022, leading a sing-a-long with Drew McIntyre after the event.
While speaking to Sporting Life in a recent interview, Mick Foley was asked about Fury, noting that he was 'made for our world'.
"Tyson Fury's made for our world. He really enjoys it. Another guy who respects it, you know. I met him and he was a big wrestling fan. He.. not just brought a lot of fun to it, but he brought a lot of talent. That guy, that size, just moving away and dodging punches. He was kind of like Ali, with the quickness."
In another recent interview, Foley stated his belief that he and Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania would still draw. You can read more about that here.
