Rhea Ripley will defend the gold on the September 11 episode of WWE Raw.
At WWE Payback, Dominik Mysterio helped Ripley neat Raquel Rodriguez to retain the WWE Women's World Championship. On the September 4 episode of WWE Raw, Rodriguez picked up a dominant win against Chelsea Green. She then announced that she will get a rematch against Ripley on the September 11 episode of WWE Raw.
Rodriguez noted that Mysterio would be banned from ringside for the match.

WWE also announced that Cody Rhodes will return to Raw on the show. Rhodes has been absent for two weeks in a row, but he appeared at WWE Payback. There, he announced that Jey Uso was joining WWE Raw.
