First finalist of Rey del Infrafundo Finals revealed.
CMLL hosted on Monday, October 28, 2024, a new episode of " Lunes Clásico" from Arena Puebla in Puebla, Puebla, Mexico. The show was headlined with the Puebla Eliminator of the 2024 Rey del Inframundo Tournament, a tournament hosted by CMLL to celebrate the Dia de Los Muertos Holiday in Mexico. Three different Torneo Cibernetico bouts would be hosted on three different shows and the winners of said matches will join Barbaro Cavernario in the 2024 finals on the 11/1 edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular in the finals. With that said, we now have our first finalist.
The Puebla Eliminator was competed with multiple talents from the Puebla area, specifically Xelhua, Arkalis, Pegasso, Perverso, Guerrero Maya Jr., Multy, Rey Samuray & Stigma. After a display of both hard hitting strikes and wonderful displays of llaveo, the technical wizard Xelhua would be the one walking out with the win after making Guerrero Maya Jr. sumit to a modified leg scissor/ Kimura Lock combination. He and Cavernario will wait on the winners of the Eliminators from both Arena Mexico and Arena Coliseo de Occidente (both taking place on the 10/29, with the Coliseo show airing on 10/31/2024).
