The commissioner of the league, Oliver Luck has spoken about his vision for the XFL and what Vince McMahon wants for the league and how they are going to come together with other officials and bring the best product possible. Luck shared more details about the XFL when he joined Boomer & Gio on WFAN Sports Radio and talked about the amount of money that head coaches and players can earn.

“So, for head coaches we're paying $500,000 a year. For our top players in the league... for our top players and I emphasize top, we can pay as much as $250 [grand]”. Luck said.

Oliver Luck also mentioned that victory bonuses will be brought back into the fray. He said that from what he took from the first launch of the XFL, fans and players enjoyed those bonuses.

“One of the good things that the XFL had in 2001 that fans liked was the victory bonus. You’re a player on a team and if your team wins that game, you get a victory bonus. So that was a big deal. Fans seem to appreciate that, and all things being equal right? Guys play for money.” Luck said.

The topic of gambling came up and Oliver shared that the XFL has been in talks with a few companies about providing a way for people to safely and efficiently bet on the game. He added that Vince McMahon has a small investment in 'Draft Kings' as well. Luck mentioned that they are going to try and stay away from nicknames on the back of jersey's and closed by saying that head coaches will be announced soon.
