Xia Li has returned to NXT and she hasn't given up her mission of winning the NXT Women's Championship despite Becky Lynch losing the title.
Xia Li interrupted Lyra Valkyria's championship celebration on the November 7 episode of WWE NXT, coming through the crowd to confront the new champion. Li asked if Lyra was aware of what she had done to Becky Lynch the night before, referring to her assault on Becky Lynch before the women's Battle Royal on the November 6 episode of Monday Night Raw.
Li then informed Valkyria that she was still looking to take the championship from her, before kicking a security guard for trying to separate them.

Xia Li had previously made her intentions to become NXT Women's Championship clear when Becky Lynch was champion, but Becky lost the title to Lyra Valkyria at NXT Halloween Havoc on October 24.
Xia Li was previously in NXT as part of the Tian Sha with Boa and Mei Ying, now known as Wendy Choo. She made her main roster debut in December 2021.
