The Young Bucks see a match against New Day in their future.
On July 31, Bobby Portis of the newly crowned NBA Champion Milwaukee Bucks attended a WWE house show and even got to get in the ring with some of the superstars. This prompted New Day's Xavier Woods to send out a tweet saying that the group finally got to get in the ring with "the bucks."

The AEW Tag Champions responded in turn, updating their bio with the proclamation that they'll one day wrestle New Day and everyone will rejoice.

The two teams have been referencing each other for a few years now, but have only come face-to-face in the gaming world when they met at E3 2018 for a best-of-three series in Street Fighter V.
Matt Jackson had a similar tweet back on December 4, 2018, when he said, "One day we’ll wrestle The Revival & everyone will rejoice. Remember this." Dax Harwood, then Scott Dawson in WWE, replied by tweeting out the same thing, just replacing the team name. This came to fruition last year when Harwood and Cash Wheeler signed with All Elite Wrestling.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods currently compete on WWE's Raw brand and have been involved in a program with Bobby Lashley and MVP. Big E is currently on SmackDown and recently won the Money in the Bank contract.
The Young Bucks are the reigning AEW Tag Team Champions and most recently won a Ten Man Elimination Tag Match (alongside Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers) against Hangman Adam Page and Dark Order.
