All-In's date, location and sell out are all now confirmed, but September wasn't the original plan, and mountains had to be moved to make that happen.
When speaking with Sean Waltman on his X-Pac 12360 Podcast, the Young Bucks admitted they had to convince PWG's Super Dragon to move their super-popular Battle of Los Angeles tourney.
"We actually had to convince Super Dragon to move Battle of Los Angeles to a different weekend because we just needed all hands on deck for the date we found," Nick Jackson revealed.
The Bucks' fellow promoter Cody joked in prior months that he'd work BOLA for free if PWG would be willing to hold the show in later weeks.
However, the original plan was for All-In to take place July 7, which would pit them head-to-head with UFC's biggest fight week of the year. The cast took note of the fact that New Japan would likely run that night and decided to move it back two months.
"July 7th at the Cow Palace, I don’t know if people even realized that. That was our building and our date and we realized, wait a minute, New Japan is probably going to be in Long Beach in early July, so we probably shouldn’t run that weekend and changed it. (NJPW) ended up running the same date in the building," said Matt Jackson
All-In takes place September 1 from the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. You can see Fightful's interviews with Marty Scurll, Hangman Page, Conrad Thompson and others for the event.
