At 'King Of Pro Wrestling' Zack Sabre Jr. was set to take on EVIL in a grudge match but Chris Jericho ambushed EVIL before the match got underway. Once Jericho walked away Sabre Jr. went in the ring and added insult to injury to EVIL but it was not long before Tetsuya Natio came down to the ring for the save which has led to the Naito/Sabre Jr. match at 'Power Struggle'.

During an interview with Tokyo Sports, Zack Sabre Jr. stated that his forthcoming match with Naito is pointless but once he is finished with the tranquilo L.I.J. leader, he will be the next man to challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.

"It is utterly absurd that I have to come all the way from the U.K. for a Naito rematch. There is absolutely no merit to this rematch, it is a waste of time." Zack said. "But I wil not keep silent about this humiliating treatment. After I will kill Naito for a third time, I'd like to commit the right to challenge the next IWGP Heavyweight Championship to New Japan. I will challenge with the next big match to the winner of the Omega versus Tanahashi match on January 4th at Tokyo Dome."
