Zayda Steel speaks on her dream to wrestle for TNA.
Zayda Steel is one of many WWE ID prospects. WWE just entered a multi-year agreement to exchange talent with TNA.
Recently, Zayda Steel appeared on Conversations with The Wrestling Classic. During her conversation, she was asked about potentially appearing in TNA Wrestling within the next five years. Steel revealed that TNA is her preferred landing spot if she doesn't end up in WWE. No matter what, she wants to be able to say that she stepped into a TNA ring at least once, even if she just sweeps the ring.
"I say this to everyone, if it's not WWE, it's TNA. Growing up, I was a huge, huge, huge, TNA baby. I loved the X-Division, Knockouts division, tag division, and I don't even like tag team wrestling, but they killed it," said Steel. "When I was in Japan, I had a couple of people putting in words for me [with] TNA. Obviously, I already got a heads-up on the WWE stuff, so nothing could have come up. Even though, I did get a message from Gail [Kim]. I did reach out to her, and she was like, 'Oh my god, I'm just now seeing this. I'm so sorry.' With the whole WWE ID stuff, maybe we could still do business, but she did get back to me. So, Gail Kim knows who I am, and maybe you'll see Zayda Steel in TNA.
"Even if I just sweep the ring," she continued. "Honestly, I just want to say I wrestled or stepped foot in a TNA ring."
