Zelina Vega On Appearing On 1/16 WWE NXT: It Felt Nice To Be Home

The LWO is focused on winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

On the January 16 episode of WWE NXT, the LWO (Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde) beat Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne to advance to the semi-finals of the Men's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Zelina Vega made her return to NXT as she accompanied Joaquin and Cruz to the ring.

In a WWE NXT Exclusive, the LWO trio were asked about the win. Cruz Del Toro expressed his excitement.

"We are so happy, excited. Tonight was just the beginning, the first step. Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro, Latino World Order. Our name is gonna be on the Dusty Rhodes Cup," Cruz Del Toro said.

They were then asked how they would prepare for their opponents in the next round, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. Joaquin Wilde stated that they would prove the doubters wrong by beating them and winning the whole tournament.

"To be fair, you are talking to the standout team right here. If there’s any doubts about that, we will prove them wrong when he beat Trick and ‘Melo in the Dusty Cup and win the entire tournament," Joaquin Wilde said.

Vega was then asked whether returning to NXT was refreshing, given everything that is happening with Santos Escobar on SmackDown. She stated that it felt good to be home, and she had to support her stablemates. Vega also called Escobar a grade-school gangster, and she took a shot at Angel as well.

“It was so good. I mean, to walk out there and to get a nice little ‘Zelina Vega chant’ was pretty nice, and to have Puerto Rican flags in the audience, I mean, come on. It felt nice to be home, and I gotta support my guys here, always. We always stick together. Now, as far as SmackDown goes, even just walking around here, seeing some little Zelina Vega lites, Santos is a grade-school gangster, if we’re really gonna talk about it. Everything that he is is made up, and he has no respect. As far as Angel goes, I’m sorry, I don’t really remember anybody that couldn’t make me money. What I will say is that we have bigger things to worry about. So now, guys, let’s make sure that the Latino World Order wins the Dusty Cup," Zelina Vega said.
