Zelina Vega says it's time to prove herself and her fans right.
On the July 22nd episode of WWE Raw, Zelina Vega persevered through an apparent arm injury during her match against Zoey Stark, and she even scored the win by using her arm brace as a weapon. The victory came amid a wave of fan support for Vega; she had been trending on Twitter/X as fans rallied around her.
Speaking on Raw Talk, Zelina Vega was asked to comment on how her win showed that she was a threat in the women's division.
“I think that’s exactly it. I am a threat. They know that. Just like Dominik [Mysterio] knew that when he got involved in my championship match against Liv [Morgan]. He knew that if he didn’t get involved, I would be standing here as champion. That’s a dream that I’m not giving up on. The WWE Universe has never given up on me. I’ve been trending now for five days because they are so ready for a change. Just like I am. It’s time that I start proving myself right, shutting people up, but most of all, proving the WWE Universe right as well," Vega said.
Vega also commented on her win in a post on Twitter/X. She told the ZVArmy that they did it, and the victory was just the beginning.
