Zoey Stark tries to put some of the Grayson Waller Effect into her promos.
Both Zoey Stark and Grayson Waller were called up from NXT as part of the 2023 WWE Draft. Even though they were drafted to separate shows, both competitors are now getting the chance to show their strengths between the ropes and on the microphone.
Speaking with Rick Ucchino on the Bleav in Pro Wrestling podcast, Stark praised Waller's abilities and revealed that she goes to him from time to time for help with her own promos.
"Man, he's so charismatic. He has so much confidence in his abilities and what he does. That's why I love him so much. His promo work is top-notch. I actually go to Grayson Waller from time to time, and I try and pick his brain about promos. He's great at what he does. So I'm glad he's finally getting that spotlight. Being able to do his show on SmackDown, that's awesome. I'm happy for him," she said.
Furthermore, she revealed that despite his on-screen persona, Waller is a good guy.
"He's not going to like me saying this. "He's a good guy, he is. He has a hard shell," she said.
