WWE No Mercy Results: Career vs. Title Match, WWE Championship, Champ Sidelined

Welcome to the Fightful.com live party for WWE No Mercy! Smackdown! Live are having their second pay per view tonight and it is set to be a great one! We have the WWE Smackdown Live! Tag Team Championship on the line, Dolph Ziggler puts his career on the line against The Miz for his Intercontinental title and in our main event we have a triple threat match for the WWE World championship as AJ Styles defends against John Cena and Dean Ambrose!

-Curt Hawkins comes out and says he did it, he stepped foot in the ring at No Mercy then starts to leave, but says he's going to leave them with a big announcement and says that he will be in the ring on Smackdown! Live Tuesday night.

-Shane and Daniel tell Alexa Bliss about Becky not having her match tonight. Alexa says she should get the belt, but they said she'll get a chance next month in Scotland and that she has a match tonight, not saying who it is as she walks away.

American Alpha & Hype Bros vs The Ascension & The Vaudevillains

Gable and English start it off then Gable tags in Jordan as they do double dropkicks to the Villains for a quick 2 count. English tags in Viktor after Jordan tags in Zack. Zack hits a neckbreaker for a quick 2 count then tags in Mojo who does his crazy stuff then drops Viktor with a lariat for a quick 2 count. Viktor tags in Konnor then Mojo hits a splash on Konnor, AA and Hype Bros sending the heels out of the ring as we go to commercial.

The Ascension double team Zack for a quick 2 count then Viktor tags in English who drops Zack with a right hand for a quick 2 count, following up with a side headlock. English tags in Gotch who gets a quick 2 count after kicking Zack down, quickly tagging in Viktor who drops him with a european uppercut. Konnor drags Zack outside then Zack tosses him into the barricade, tagging in Jordan who drops English then hits a shoulder tackle into an exploder suplex, but only gets a quick 2 as English breaks it up. AA hit Grand Amplitude on English for the pin and the win.

AJ Styles vs John Cena vs Dean Ambrose WWE World Championship Triple Threat Match

Dean goes for Dirty Deeds immediately then Cena for the AA then AJ for the Styles Clash, all getting countered. Dean drops AJ then attacks Cena in the corner, sending AJ to the outside and into the barricade then doing the same to Cena. Dean tosses AJ back into the ring then dives onto Cena, but Cena catches him and runs him into the ring post, AJ diving over the top rope and taking out Cena onto the floor. AJ tosses Cena back into the ring then drops him with a right hand. Dean goes for a suplex AJ to the floor then float over, Cena hitting a double german suplex with AJ holding onto Dean. Cena gets a close 2 count on AJ then goes for the AA, but AJ counters into a pele kick. Dean gets a sunset flip on AJ for a quick 2 count then Aj hits a neckbreaker and a DDT on Cena and Dean at the same time for a quick 2 count on the both of them. Aj hits a kick to Cena then Cena hits a code red for a close 2 count. 

Cena puts AJ on his shoulder then gets on the second rope, AJ hitting a blue thunder bomb for a close 2 count. AJ puts Cena in a sleeper hold, but Cena gets out and puts one on AJ, getting out and Dean puts one on Cena. Cena keeps backing Dean into the corner where AJ is then Cena drops Dean repeatedly with shoulder tackles then goes for you can't see me, but AJ hits a german suplex into a dodan for a close 2 count, Dean hitting a dodon of his own for a 2 count as well. Cena drops AJ then Dean hits an elbow to Cena off the top rope for a quick 2 count. Dean goes for Dirty Deeds, but Cena counters and sits him on the top rope, hitting a frankensteiner, but Dean rolls through for a 2 count then AJ rolls Dean up for a 2 count of his own. Cena hits a 10 knuckle shuffle then hits an AA to AJ who rolls out of the ring, Dean going for Dirty Deeds, but Cean counters into an AA for a very close 2 count. Cena puts an STF on Dean, but AJ breaks it up. Cena goes for an AA on the apron, but AJ hits a suplex on Cena on the apron. AJ hits a springboard 450 and actually lands it, he usually misses it for a close 2 count. AJ goes for the Phenomenal Forearm then Dean counters into Dirty Deeds, but AJ counters and Cena puts an STF on AJ, Dean not letting him tap however. 

Cena goes for a double AA, but AJ gets off then drops Cena with a kick before Dean hits a lariat that turns AJ inside out. Dean puts Aj on the top rope then goes for a super Dirty Deeds but Cena hits a powerbomb for a close 2 count. Cena catches AJ and goes for the AA, but AJ counters into a Calf Crusher, Dean hitting AJ with an elbow to break it up. Dean puts a Calf Killer on AJ then Cena puts an STF on him, AJ tapping out, but both had a hold on him.

The referee restarts the match then Dean and Cena exchange right hands then Cena turns Dean inside out with a clothesline then goes for an AA, but Dean hits Dirty Deeds, but AJ pulls the referee out of the ring. Dean sends AJ over the barricade then Cena hits an AA off the top rope, but AJ brings in a chair and takes both of them out, pinning Cena for the pin and the win.

Winner: AJ Styles via pinfall

-After the match Cena is on the ramp in disbelief, Dean sitting outside the ring feeling the same way. We then get a video package for Bray and Randy's feud. 

Nikki Bella vs Carmella

Nikki attacks Carmella then throws her around the ring by her hair, Carmella getting out of the ring, but Nikki hits her with a baseball slide that sends her to the floor. Carmella drops Nikki on the barricade then the apron. Carmella puts her back in the ring at 8 then gets a quick 2 count. Carmella hits her with elbows then puts on a rear chin lock. Carmella moon walks then hits a bronco buster for a close 2 count. Carmella puts the choke back on Nikki then drives Nikki into the corner, pulling her hair then Nikki spears her out of no where. Nikki hits a few dropkicks then clotheslines her in the corner before hitting a springboard roundhouse kick for a close 2 count of her own. Nikki hits the Bella Buster, but Carmella kicks out somehow, Carmella hitting a huricanrrana then a superkick for a close 2 count. Nikki gets a small package for a close 2 count then Carmella puts on the Code of Silence, but Nikki gets out and drops her with a forearm, but Carmella puts the Code of Silence back on, Nikki getting to the ropes. Nikki hits the Rack Attack 2.0 out of no where for the pin and the win.

Winner: Nikki Bella via pinfall with the Rack Attack 2.0

-We have Shane and Daniel in their office as The Miz comes in and talks about his match tonight while taking jabs at Daniel.

The Usos vs Heath Slater & Rhyno WWE Smackdown! Tag Team Championship Match

Rhyno and Jimmy start it off with Rhyno in control then he tags in Heath, the two doing some double teaming before Heath hits a forearm in the corner. Jimmy drops Heath then tags in Jey who chops Heath across the chest, following up with a series of scoop slams  then a belly to back suplex for a quick 2 count. Jey tags Jimmy back in, the two doing some double teaming then Jimmy goes for a pin for a quick 2 count. Heath tagss in Rhyno who takes out Jey on the apron then drops Jimmy with a clothesline then a belly to belly suplex. Rhyno goes for the Gore, but Jey stops him and Jimmy hits a dropkick before tagging in Jey who hits a hip attack on Rhyno in the corner for a quick 2 count. Jey tags Jimmy back in who gets a quick 2 count then puts a rear chin lock on Rhyno who quickly powers out of it, but Jimmy throws him down to the mat by the hair. Jimmy puts a kneebar on Rhyno then tags Jey back in who hits him with a dropkick to the back of the head. Jey hits Rhyno with a series of right hands for another quick 2 count before tagging Jimmy back in. Jimmy whips Rhyno into the corner, but counters it into a spinebuster, Heath dying to get in the match as Rhyno tags him in. Heath takes Jimmy off the apron then drops Jey with a leg lariat then one to Jey, following up with a neckbreaker for a quick 2 count. Jey tags Jimmy back in then Rhyno takes Jey out, Jimmy hitting a dropkick on him before Jimmy drops Heath with a right hand. Jimmy goes for a splash off the top rope, but Heath hits a powerslam for a very close 2 count.

Jimmy hits a superkick that drops Heath then tags in Jey as they hit the leg move on Heath into a Tequila Sunrise as Rhyno gores Jimmy on the outside. Rhyno hits Jey with a clothesline to break it up then Rhyno gets tagged in, goring Jey for the pin and the win.

Winner: Heath Slater & Rhyno via pinfall

-Bray then cuts a promo in...Russian?

Baron Corbin vs Jack Swagger

Corbin goes right after Swagger, hitting him repeatedly with forearms then Jack drops him and sends him over the top rope before tossing Corbin into the barricade. Jack slams his head against the announce table repeatedly then Corbin kicks Swagger's hand that's in the stairs. They get back in the ring at the counter of 6 then Corbin focuses on the arm and hand of Swagger. Corbin gets a quick 2 count then focuses on Jack's fingers, following up with a forearm then Jack counters and sends him face first into the turnbuckle. They exchange right hands then Jack hits Corbin with a couple of clotheslines before hitting the Swagger Bomb for a close 2 count, following up with the Patriot Lock, but can't lock it in. Corbin hits the Deep Six out of no where for a very close 2 count. Corbin drops Swagger with a right hand then plays to the crowd then Jack turns Corbin inside out with a clothesline for a close 2 count of his own. Jack puts the ankle lock on, but Corbin gets free then hits The End of Days for the pin and the win.

-We get a promo for The Miz and Dolph Ziggler, showing their entire feud so far and the build up to Dolph putting his career on the line.

The Miz vs Dolph Ziggler WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

Dolph goes for a single leg, but Miz gets in the ropes. Dolph rolls Miz up then hits a lariat, Miz flipping him out of the ring. Dolph hits a dropkick then clotheslines Miz over the top rope. Dolph throws Miz into the barricade then tosses him back into the ring. Dolph hits another dropkick then Miz whips him chest first into the turnbuckle for a 2 count. Miz hits a PK for another quick 2 count then stomps on Dolph on the apron. Miz sends Dolph throat first into the ropes then mocks Daniel Bryan with a submission he used to do. Dolph goes for a superkick then Miz hits a neckbreaker for a quick 2 count. Miz hits a series of dropkick in the corner taunting Daniel Bryan and doing his YES chant before Dolph drops him with a dropkick of his own. Dolph goes for a famouser, but Miz counters and Dolph turns it into a roll up. Miz drops Dolph with a kick then Miz goes for the leverage pin for a quick 2 count. Dolph rolls up Miz then Miz rolls him up. Dolph goes for a DDT, but Miz counters with one of his own for a close 2 count.

Miz goes for a figure four, but Dolph pushes him away, Miz following it up with a dropkick to the knee of Dolph. Miz goes for the figure four again and Dolph turns it into a roll up for a quick 2 count. Miz gets hung up on the top rope then Dolph goes for a superplex, but Miz goes for a sunset flip, but Dolph counters. Miz goes for a powerbomb, but Dolph counters and Miz applies the figure four, Miz getting a close 2 count when Dolph has his shoulder down, Dolph getting to the ropes for the break. Maryse gets on the apron and argues with the referee as Miz tries to take apart the turnbuckle, Dolph hitting a Rough Ryder for a close 2 count. Dolph goes for a Zigzag, but Miz counters and Miz puts Dolph into the exposed turnbuckle, following up with a slingshot powerbomb for a very close 2 count. Miz kicks Dolph like Daniel Bryan did, but Dolph hits the Zigzag out of no where for a very close 2 count of his own. 

Miz blocks a superkick then Dolph puts on a sleeper, but Miz gets to the bottom rope. Maryse sprays Dolph in the face then Miz hits a Skull Crushing Finale, but Dolph gets his foot on the rope. Miz takes off Dolph's boot, Dolph hitting a superkick. The Spirit Squad come out to distract the referee with Dolph kicking them off the apron, Miz hitting the Skull Crushing Finale, but Dolph kicks out. The referee tosses Maryse and the Spirit Squad to the back then Dolph hits a superkick for the pin and the win. Didn't see that coming, but okay then.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler via pinfall with a superkick

-Randy is looking in a mirror that changes his appearance.

-Alexa Bliss comes out next and complains about not getting her title shot tonight and says they're protecting Becky from her. Alexa says there's no one else on the same level of her as Naomi comes out. 

Alexa Bliss vs Naomi

Alexa drops Naomi and mocks her then kicks her when she grabs her foot. Alexa stomps her face into the mat then Naomi hits her with a series of kicks, following up with a moonsault for a quick 2 count. Alexa drops her with a stiff forearm then Naomi counters. Alexa gets a quick 2 count after throwing her onto the apron then focuses on her arm. Alexa gets another quick 2 count then keeps focusing on her left arm, stomping it and applying a submission then whips Naomi into the second turnbuckle, Naomi turning it around and doing the same to her. Naomi hits a facebuster then a dropkick, hitting the rear view for a close 2 count. Alexa puts an armbar on, but Naomi rolls out of it and rolls Alexa up for the pin and the win. So much for keeping Alexa looking strong.

Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt

They lock up to start the match then Bray does his upside down pose, Randy teases an RKO, but Bray gets out of the ring. They lock up again then Bray hits Randy repeatedly with right hands, Randy returning the favor then Bray drops Randy. Randy drops Bray and stomps on every part of his body then hits Bray in the corner. Bray catches Randy and goes for Sister Abigail, but Randy blocks it then going for the hanging DDT, but Bray blocks it and drags Randy outside. Bray smacks Randy's face off the announce table then Randy goes for an RKO, but Bray sends Randy over the table. Bray messes with the stairs then Randy drops him repeatedly with clotheslines. Bray sends Randy into the barricade then does Randy's signature pose. Bray stomps on Randy then drops him with a clothesline then hits a senton for a quick 2 count. Bray splashes into Randy in the corner then drops him for another quick 2 count. Bray hits a DDT on the apron then rolls Randy back into the ring for two quick 2 counts. Bray drops him again with a clothesline for another quick 2 count then puts on a rear chin lock. Bray hits a scoop slam then goes for a senton off the second rope, but Randy rolls out of the way. 

They exchange strikes in the center of the ring then Randy drops Bray repeatedly with a series of lariats. Bray goes for Sister Abigail, but Randy counters into a powerslam for a quick 2 count. Randy goes for the draped DDT, but Bray counters, going for a uranagi then Randy for his backbreaker, Randy countering into an RKO, but Bray counters and hits the uranagi for a close 2 count. Bray sends Randy to the outside then puts him on the stairs before going for a running senton into the stairs, but Randy rolls out of the way. Randy slams Bray's face into the table over and over then tosses him into the barricade, following up with a back drop onto the barricade. Randy hits the draping DDT then gets ready for an RKO as the lights go out and Luke Harper is in the ring, Bray hitting Sister Abigail off the distraction for the pin and the win. Well then, welcome back Luke.
