This is the Fightful.com live coverage for WWE Payback! Tonight we have an action packed show as in our main event Roman Reigns looks to finally put an end to the destructive force that is Braun Strowman! We also have plenty of gold up for grabs as Kevin Owens defends his WWE United States Championship against Chris Jericho, Randy Orton defends his WWE World Championship against Bray Wyatt in a House of Horrors match and Hardys put their WWE Tag Team Championships on the line when they take on Cesaro and Sheamus! We also have Bayley defending her WWE RAW Women's Championship against Alexa Bliss and much more so be sure to come back here at 7 PM EST where we'll get things started on the preshow with Enzo and Cass taking on Gallows and Anderson!
Enzo & Cass vs Gallows & Anderson
Enzo goes right after Karl to start the match, seemingly looking for a quick finish before hitting him with several shoulder blocks in the corner. Karl comes back by focusing on the arm of Enzo before tagging Doc in. Doc drops Enzo, then tags in Karl immediately after; Guns and Gallows doing their best to keep Enzo isolated in their corner. Gallows hits Enzo with an STO when he breaks up a roll up on Karl, then Enzo rolls out of the ring to recover as we go to commercial.
Gallows is in control as we come back, Cass eagerly awaiting a tag as Enzo hits Doc with a DDT before Doc tags in Karl. Karl knocks Enzo away right before he can tag in Cass, then Enzo goes to their corner before catching Karl running in. Karl drops him anyway, then Enzo goes to tag in Cass, but Gallows yanks him off of the apron right when Enzo tries to tag him in. Enzo crawls through the legs of Gallows and finally tags in Cass who sends Karl out of the ring before power slamming Gallows and hitting him with an elbow drop. Cass splashes Doc repeatedly, then Karl moves him out of the way before Enzo tags himself back in right when Karl does. Karl dropkicks Enzo off of the apron, then rolls him back into the ring before Gallows and Anderson go for the Magic Killer, but Cass sends Anderson out of the ring before Enzo rolls up Gallows for the pin and the win.

-The Miz & Maryse come out and Miz introduces Finn Balor who comes out and talks about his return to RAW. Finn and Miz talk about the Balor Club, Finn saying that memberships are dictated by the fans rather than himself, then Finn says the club has declined to accept Miz and Maryse into their fold. Miz goes on to list the accolades of Finn, including his time in NXT and Japan before talking about how he was drafted so early last year, then asks Finn if he feels like he's a failure. Finn goes off to list all of his injures, then becoming the first WWE Universal champion, Miz saying he was champion for twenty four hours and that screams failure. Miz says that Finn is too small and he fights with his heart rather than his brain and that he was Intercontinental champion and the face of Smackdown! Live while Finn was busy rehabbing. Finn says his next goal is to get the WWE Universal championship back, Miz saying that Brock Lesnar will break him in half. Finn hits Miz with a sling blade, then dropkicks him into the corner before leaving.
Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho WWE United States Championship Match
They brawl around ringside before the match starts, then Jericho rolls KO into the ring before KO stomps him down. Jericho comes back and dropkicks KO out of the ring, then hits a back elbow off of the top rope once he rolls back into the ring. Jericho beats on Kevin in the corner, then hits a bull dog before KO rolls out onto the apron when Jericho goes for a lionsault. KO sends Y2J into the barricade, then hits a cannon ball before rolling back into the ring, seemingly content with a count out victory. KO hits a high angle senton once they're back in the ring for a quick two count, then KO puts Y2J in a side headlock. KO hits a neckbreaker for another quick two count, then puts Y2J back in the headlock before Jericho rolls him up for a quick two count.
They exchange strikes, then KO puts Y2J into another headlock before KO sends Jericho to the floor when he misses a splash in the corner. Y2J comes back and teases a Walls of Jericho, but KO counters, then Jericho hits him with an enzuigiri for a near fall. They tease their finishers, then Jericho misses a lionsault, KO hitting a cannonball for a near fall. Y2J counters a pop-up powerbomb, then puts KO in the Walls of Jericho before he gets a finger on the ropes right before he taps. Jericho sends Owens out of the ring, then smashes his hand into the steps repeatedly before wedging it between the steps and the ring post and stomping on it. KO pokes Y2J in the eye and rolls him up for a near fall before Jericho counters a pop-up powerbomb and locks the Walls of Jericho in once more before KO is forced to tap.
Winner: Chris Jericho via submission
Neville vs Austin Aries WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match
They lock up to start the match for a clean break, then Aries drops Neville before Neville backs him into the corner for a not so clean break; Neville focusing on the wrist of Aries until he flips and takes him down. Aries takes Neville down repeatedly, then dropkicks him before reclining on the top turnbuckle, hitting an elbow and a senton from the apron before sending Neville out of the ring. They get back in and Aries gets caught on the top rope before Neville dropkicks him off of it and to the mat. Neville stomps on Aries until the referee makes him back off, then violently whips Aries across the ring before Neville hits a missile dropkick for a quick two count. Neville plays to the crowd, then stomps on Aries repeatedly before Aries dropkicks him over the top rope and out of the ring.
They exchange forearms on the apron, then Neville counters a suplex before Aries hits a flying cross body and several chops into a gut buster, STO and a pendulum elbow. Aries hits a running back elbow in the corner, then a snapmare before hitting an elbow to the back of the neck of Neville for a near fall. Aries hits a neckbreaker in the ropes, then dives through the ropes and takes out Neville before pulling him back into the ring for a quick count. Aries drops Neville with an elbow, then Neville counters a discus five arm before Aries hits a running forearm in the corner. Aries hits a sunset flip powerbomb into the Last Chancery, but Neville pulls the referee, disqualifying Neville.
Winner: Austin Aries via disqualification
The Hardys vs Sheamus & Cesaro WWE Raw Tag Team Championship Match
Matt and Cesaro start it off with Cesaro all over Matt until they have a clean break, then Matt tags in Jeff who starts focusing on the left arm of Cesaro. The Hardys tag in and out, then Jeff hits Poetry in Motion before Matt rolls Cesaro up for a quick two count. Cesaro drops Matt with a European uppercut, then tags in Sheamus who suplexes matt, then Sheamus and Cesaro start tagging in and out. Cesaro hits Matt with a running back elbow in the corner for a quick two count, then tags Sheamus back in before Matt tags Jeff in. Jeff drops Sheamus repeatedly, then hits a leg drop into a dropkick and a splash for a quick two count before Sheamus sends him out of the ring.
Cesaro tags himself in and hits a gut wrench suplex on Jeff for a quick two count before tagging Sheamus back in, the two dropping Jeff with a back elbow. Sheamus hits a diving knee for a quick two count, then puts Jeff in a headlock before Jeff counters with a jawbreaker, then Sheamus hits him with a knee for a near fall when he tries to tag in Matt. Matt gets tagged in and hits an elbow drop to Cesaro when he's tagged in before hitting a Side Effect for a near fall that Sheamus breaks up. Jeff takes out Sheamus on the outside, then Matt misses a moonsault before Cesaro hits him with a springboard back elbow. Cesaro swings Matt, then catches him on the top rope before Sheamus hits a Celtic Cross off of the top rope for a near fall that Jeff breaks up.
Jeff sends Cesaro out of the ring, then dives off of the apron, but Cesaro catches him, then Jeff sends him into the crowd. Sheamus misses a Brogue Kick, then hits Matt with a DDT for a near fall before Jeff gets the blind tag and hits Sheamus with a Swanton Bomb when he tries to pin Matt for the pin and the win.
Winner: The Hardys via pinfall
-Sheamus and Cesaro attack Matt and Jeff after the match, then hold up the belts like they're theirs before leaving after draping the belts over the fallen champions.
Bayley vs Alexa Bliss WWE Raw Women's Championship Match
Alexa uses Bayley's aggression against her when she goes right after her early, dropping her and playing to the crowd. Bayley comes back with a suplex into a knee drop for a quick two count before Alexa rolls out of the ring to recover, only for Bayley to dropkick her to the floor when she gets on the apron. Bayley rolls her back into the ring for a quick two count, then smashes her face into the turnbuckle repeatedly before Alexa drops her with a stiff forearm. Alexa beats on Bayley in the corner until the referee pulls her off for a quick two count, then puts Bayley in a headlock before she powers out of it. Alexa sends Bayley throat first into the ropes, then rolls her over for a quick two count before choking her in the ropes on the opposite side of the ring for another quick two count.
Alexa beats on Bayley and pulls her hair before playing to the crowd and pulling her to her feet by her hair before Bayley comes back with a series of strikes only for Alexa to put her right back down. Bayley comes back again and Alexa clotheslines her before standing on her and smashing her face into the mat repeatedly, then kicking her out of the ring before playing to the crowd. Alexa drags Bayley around ringside by her hair and smashes her face into the apron repeatedly before rolling her back into the ring. Bayley hits a stunner to Alexa in the ropes, then drops her repeatedly before dropping her onto the top turnbuckle. Bayley suplexes Alexa, then hits a back elbow into a sliding forearm before backing her into the corner. Bayley hits a half hatch suplex for a near fall, then hits a diving back elbow off of the top rope before Alexa sends her face first into the turnbuckle.
Alexa hits a code red off of the second rope for a near fall, then misses Insult to Injury, Bayley dropping her with a running knee, then hitting an elbow drop off of the top rope for a near fall. Alexa slaps Bayley and Bayley attacks her in a rage before Alexa shoves her away, then Bayley rolls her up, but Alexa kicks out and Bayley goes face first into the ring post. Bayley rolls Alexa up for a near fall, then Alexa hits a DDT for the pin and the win.

Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt House of Horrors Match Part 1
A limo pulls up with Randy in the back, then Randy gets out and we see a scary looking house. Randy slowly approaches the house, very cautious of his surroundings as the only light in the house in the upstairs window goes out. Randy looks around as you hear crickets chirping in the distance, Randy slowly making his way to the house where he can see Bray inside of it as the lights come back on. Randy kicks the front door open, then Bray attacks him from behind when the door closes by itself. Bray sends Randy head first through a television, then beats on him before Randy hits him with a lamp post. Randy stands up to find Bray having disappeared before Randy makes his way through the house.
Randy goes to a room with porcelain dolls hanging from the ceiling, then Bray attacks him from behind before they brawl some more. Bray attacks Randy before quickly disappearing when Randy gets the upper hand, then Randy goes into a room with satanic like imagery before making his way to the kitchen. Randy and Bray fight in the kitchen, then Randy beats him down before they collapse to the floor before Bray drops a refrigerator onto Randy. Bray screams and makes his way out of the house before the house from blue to red, then Bray gets into the limo and leaves for the arena.
Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe
Seth goes right after Joe to start the match, sending him out of the ring before beating on him around ringside. Seth dives off of the barricade and takes Joe out before rolling him back into the ring and Joe rolls back out when Seth gets on the top rope. Seth dives through the ropes repeatedly, then rolls him back into the ring, but Joe attacks his knee once he does. Joe dives through the ropes and sends Seth between the announce tables before rolling him back into the ring and hitting him with several right hands. Seth comes back with a few forearms before Joe sweeps his legs out from under him. Joe focuses on the injured knee of Seth, then drops him with an back elbow in the corner into an enzuigiri for a quick two count.
Joe backs Seth into the corner with right hands and chops, then Seth sends Joe into the middle turnbuckle before dropping Joe with a series of strikes.Seth whips Joe into the corner and hits him with several flying forearms into a neckbreaker before Joe catches him and locks in a kneebar, but Seth rolls his way to the ropes for the break right before tapping. Joe powerbombs Seth for a near fall, then locks in a single leg Boston crab before Seth gets to the ropes for the break. Joe chokes Seth in the corner, then Seth comes back with an enzuigiri into a blockbuster for a near fall before Seth drops Joe with a superkick, but Joe is quick to kick out of a pin attempt immediately afterwards. Joe catches Seth on the top rope, then Seth slips out of the back before he falls down, then Seth hits a falcon arrow for a near fall out of no where.
Seth then hits a frog splash off of the top rope for a near fall before they exchange strikes and Joe tries to put Seth in a sleeper, but Seth rolls out of it for a near fall. Joe turns Seth inside out, then locks in a sleeper before Seth rolls through for the pin and the win.

Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt House of Horrors Match Part 2 Finale
Bray arrives in the arena and makes his way out to the ring as we come back to the announce team before Bray makes his way out to the ring. Randy appears behind Bray as the lights come up, then Randy hits him with a chair before Randy sends him out of the ring. Randy smashes Bray's face into the stairs, then the announce table before tossing him over top of it. Randy hits a draping DDT using the announce table to hold Bray up rather than the ropes, then the Singh brothers attack Randy once they're back in the ring. Randy hits Bray with an RKO, then Jinder hits Randy with the belt he stole from him this past Tuesday night before Bray hits Randy with Sister Abigail for the pin and the win.
Winner: Bray Wyatt via pinfall
Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman
Roman attacks Braun immediately, then sends him over the top rope before dropping him at ringside. Strowman catches Roman when he runs at him, then tosses him into the barricade before choke slamming him onto the announce table. Strowman rolls Roman back into the ring , then Roman tries to drop him, but Strowman doesn't move an inch, Strowman dropping him with ease. Strowman splashes into Roman in the corner, then starts focusing on the injured shoulder and arm of Roman before throwing him shoulder first into the ring post. Roman falls out of the ring as Strowman looks on momentarily, then goes out after him, rushing Roman and sending him into the steps repeatedly. They get back in the ring and Strowman hits Roman with a series of knees before clotheslining him for a quick two count.
Roman fights out of a bear hug before side stepping Strowman repeatedly when he rushes in, then Roman hits him with a series of lariats before he hits Strowman with a Samoan drop for a quick two count. Roman hits Strowman with a series of clubbing blows, then clotheslines him over the top rope, both men falling out of the ring and to the floor. Roman hits a shotgun dropkick at ringside, then Strowman catches him when he goes for a superman punch. Roman sends Strowman face first into the ring post twice, Strowman falling the second time he hits it. Strowman gets back into the ring at the count of nine, then Roman spears him for a near fall. Strowman counters another spear, then Roman counters a powerslam, Roman hitting Strowman with a series of superman punches before Strowman catches Roman and locks in a standing arm triangle. Strowman powerslams Roman for a near fall, then Strowman hits another running powerslam for the pin and the win.
Winner: Braun Strowman via pinfall
-Strowman then attacks Roman after the match with the steps, dropping him onto them when he sets them up in the ring on their side. Strowman then smashes the steps into the chest of Roman before leaving as several people come down to help Roman as we go off the air.
