The release of WWE 2K18 is less than two weeks away. It’s become a tradition prior to the release of any sports game for the real life people to guess the rating of their video game characters. No one takes how they are rated in a video game more serious than NBA players.
WWE followed suit thanks to the help of IGN, who went around and asked a handful of WWE superstars to predict their 2K18 rating.
Man, what did Sami Zayn do to Rusev and Sheamus? At least Sheamus (85 overall) will be happy to know that he’s one point better than Zayn (84 overall). Meanwhile, the developers may have to hide from Rusev, who they rated the same as Zayn.
The good news for the developers is that they’ll already be hiding from Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe. Both superstars thought they deserved to be at least a 90 overall, with Strowman going as high as 95. Unfortunately for both men, they’re only at 88 overall. The only person who hits the 95 overall mark is Roman Reigns.
Good luck escaping the wrath of Rusev, Joe, and Strowman, Mr. 2K Ratings Guru.
Shinsuke Nakamura and Finn Balor were modest when it came to predicting their ratings. Nakamura figured he’d be 37 overall because he’s 37-years-old. Sound logic, but he’s actually 89 overall. Balor gave himself an overall rating of 4 based on his performances. Regular Balor is 88 overall. But if you add paint, his rating jumps to 92 overall.
WWE 2K18 hits stores Oct. 17. However, those who get the deluxe edition can start playing Oct. 13. With over 100 superstars on the roster, you’ll have plenty of ratings to comb through.
