Cody Rhodes went from a frustrating spot in WWE in 2016, to headlining ROH's biggest show of the year this coming Friday, and it was met with major financial success.
Rhodes recently appeared on Busted Open Radio and revealed that he passed the million dollar mark in 2017 between working for Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling and the independent circuit.

Being a world champion is all that it was cracked up to be from every world champion that there ever was that told me about it. It's certainly been everything that I dreamed and hoped for.”

Rhodes left WWE in 2016 after several points of contention, including the company's refusal to allow him to stop portraying the Stardust character.
