- The headliner of this year's Hall of Fame class was Triple H. Already in the Hall of Fame as a member of DX, he was honored this year as a solo performer. In his speech, he thanked numerous WWE employees, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley, Steve Austin, and many more of the performers who defined his career.

He also took the time to thank his mother, father, and sister. Stephanie McMahon and their three daughters were in attendance. He thanked each of them, getting emotional at various points in his speech. Linda McMahon was in attendance. Shane McMahon was not in attendance, but he did get a shout-out and a plea from Triple H to not jump off of anything too high anytime soon.

- Vince McMahon was mentioned and thanked by Triple H, who did admit that they have a complicated relationship. McMahon was not in attendance and has not had any affiliation with WWE since stepping down in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations made by former WWE employee Janel Grant.

- Shawn Michaels inducted Triple H and very humorously cleared the air regarding all of the speculation over the years that they were more than friends. He assured everyone that the only time they had ever kissed was on live TV, when they were in DX.

Bret Hart reiterated that he felt the match was perfect and a work of art. Steve Austin also praised Ken Shamrock, joking that he and Bret looked like shit compared to the UFC Fighter. They drank some beer and were awarded a statue made to look like their faces.

Matt Cardona was also in attendance, sitting next to Chelsea Green, and the injured Kevin Owens was there as well, sitting behind his would-be WrestleMania opponent, Randy Orton.
