UFC women's flyweight veterans Antonina Shevchenko and Cortney Casey are scheduled to collide at a yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on April 30.
MMA Fighting's Mike Heck was the first to report the news of the matchup, although the promotion is yet to officially announce anything regarding the booking. Shevchenko is 2-2 in her last four Octagon outings and will try to rebound from a second-round TKO loss to Casey O'Neil at UFC Vegas 38. Casey meanwhile is also 2-2 in her last four fights and will look to build off of a unanimous decision victory over Liana Jojua back at UFC Vegas 42.
“There's always something to work on.”@CastIron_Casey was happy with a dominant performance and hopes to get back to action sooner than later.
