The vacant Cage Warriors Bantamweight Title will get a new owner at Cage Warriors 100 as Jack Shore is in action against Mike Ekundayo. The title was supposed to get a new owner at Cage Warriors 97, but Oemer Cankardesler withdrew from their bout and Shore fought a non-title bout against a late replacement opponent.
Shore (9-0-0) has fought eight of his nine professional MMA bouts in Cage Warriors, with a notable win coming over UFC veteran Vaughan Lee at Cage Warriors 92. Shore also enters the bout riding a nine fight undefeated streak, which has already lasted over two years. Shore has nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of those victories have come by way of decision.
Ekundayo (7-0-0) has competed once thus far under the Cage Warriors banner, defeating Ed Arthur by unanimous decision at Cage Warriors 95. Ekundayo also competed once in the Bellator MMA organization, defeating Tom Means by second round TKO at Bellator 200. Ekundayo is also competing for the fourth time in 2018, making 2018 his most active year as a professional MMA fighter.
