Bellator has parted ways with 15 fighters headlined by 12-fight Bellator veteran A.J. Matthews, undefeated flyweight prospect Mandy Bohm, and Zach Freeman.
Promotion officials confirmed the news with MMAJunkie's Nolan King who was the first to report the string of fighters no longer competing under the Bellator banner. Bohm might be the most interesting name among the 15 fighters, she's a 7-0 women's flyweight prospect and former TKO MMA women's flyweight champion who won her Bellator debut defeating Griet Eeckhout via a unanimous decision at Bellator 247. Freeman who is best known for submitting Aaron Pico in Pico's MMA debut at Bellator 180 in just 24 seconds via a guillotine choke and Matthews who went 5-7 in his Bellator appearances were amongst the other notable names listed.
