Colby Covington is amping up in the intolerance.
Former UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington defeated former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in the main event of UFC Vegas 11. The win firmly puts Covington in contention for another shot at UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.
Covington appeared on the UFC Vegas 11 post-fight show, which Usman was a part of. It didn’t take Covington long to spew some controversial statements towards Usman after the champion made a remark about Covington's call with U.S. President Donald Trump.
“Who did you get a call from?!” Covington said (via Anton Tabuena of Bloody Elbow). “Did you get a call from, freaking, your little tribe? Did they give you some smoke signals for you? (laughs) You’re a joke Marty Fake Newsman!”

Usman defeated Covington in their first meeting at UFC 245, injuring Covington’s jaw in the process. Usman brought that up during their back and forth.
“I finished you. I broke your face. I broke your face,” Usman stated.

The former interim welterweight champion would continue shouting at Usman before their time together came to a close. A rematch between Usman and Covington most likely won’t be happening until 2021 at the earliest, as Usman is first defending the gold against Gilbert Burns in the main event of UFC 256.
