Bellator women's featherweight champion Cris Cyborg made it clear that if undefeated PFL women's lightweight champion Kayla Harrison wants to fight her, she simply just needs to sign with Bellator.
Cyborg spoke with the media following her first-round knockout win over Sinead Kavanagh at last Friday's Bellator 271 event and didn't want to share any of her shine with Harrison, but insisted that if she wants the fight with Cyborg that the 36-year old Brazilian legend is ready and willing whenever.
“If she really wants to fight me, she knows where I’m at,” Cyborg said (h/t MMA Junkie). “(Her manager Ali Abdelaziz) can negotiate with Scott Coker to make the fight happen. I have nothing to say. I’m not gonna share my shine today. I’m here ready for anyone who wants to fight me, for sure. If she really wants to fight me, she can sign with Bellator, and we’ll fight. We’re gonna talk about this back and forth, back and forth. I don’t think she’s gonna come out of PFL. I think she’s gonna continue PFL. This is just part of the game. Thank you for coming. It was nice. She was coming to visit my house. I hope she really liked it.”
.@CrisCyborg leaves no doubt as to her championship status.
