Swanson took to Instagram after the event to issue a statement on his latest defeat:

On the other side of the coin is the “Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung, who is almost ready to return to action after a knee injury sidelined him shortly before a scheduled bout with Ricardo Lamas at UFC 214.

Jung would also take to Instagram to challenge Edgar to a fight:

@frankieedgar I want to fight with you. ------ #ufc

Edgar has yet to respond to the challenge laid out by Jung, as Edgar stated after UFC Fight Night Atlantic City that he would like a shot at the UFC Featherweight Title.

If Edgar were to be granted another opportunity at the gold, it would be his third opportunity to win the 145 pound strap.
