The main event is set for next months Legacy Fighting Alliance 42 card and its a welterweight division affair as Derrick Krantz is going to be in action against Kassius Kayne.
Krantz (20-10-0) is competing for the first time since losing the LFA Welterweight Title to James Nakashima at LFA 23. Krantz won the LFA Welterweight Title back at LFA 12, defeating Ben Neumann by second round TKO to claim the gold. Krantz also won just one of two bouts under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone win coming over Eric Scallan at Bellator 61.
Kayne (10-4-0) is currently undefeated under the LFA banner, having defeated Jordan Larson by second round TKO at LFA 25. Kayne has twice before challenged for the Victory Fighting Championships Welterweight Title, losing those title bouts to UFC veteran Yuri Villefort and Maki Pitolo. Kayne has earned a total of ten wins as a professional MMA fighter, but none of those victories have come by way of decision.
Legacy Fighting Alliance 42 takes place on Friday, June 8 from the Branson Convention Center in Branson, Missouri with Derrick Krantz and Kassius Kayne headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on AXS TV.
