Former two-time UFC title challenger, Dominick Reyes, is set to make his Octagon return against Ryan Spann at UFC 281 on November 12 in the promotion's return to New York City this winter.
MMA Junkie's Mike Bohn was the first to report the news of the matchup being in the works, although the UFC has yet to confirm anything regarding the booking or event themselves. Reyes is currently riding a three-fight losing streak and will look to rebound from a second-round KO loss to UFC light heavyweight champion, Jiri Prochazka, at UFC Vegas 25 back in May 2021. Spann meanwhile is 2-2 in his last four Octagon appearances and is coming off of a first-round submission win over Ion Cutelaba at UFC Vegas 54.
