Former interim UFC lightweight, Dustin Poirier, put his support behind former two-division UFC champion, Daniel Cormier, potentially one day being the president of the promotion.
Poirier recently spoke with Valuetainment's Patrick David-Bet about his life story and journey to becoming one of the greatest lightweight's of his generation. He responded with his fellow Lafayette, Louisiana native as a good potential replacement when asked who he thinks could fill in for current UFC President Dana White, whenever he decides to retire.
“That’s a tough spot to fill,” said Poirier (h/t MMA News). “I’m not sure. I think Daniel Cormier maybe? Maybe somebody who’s been in combat sports. I don’t know if he knows a whole lot about the business side, but I think he would be a great face of a company.”
