Ed Herman has been pulled from this March’s UFC 209 event due to an undisclosed injury. He was scheduled to fight Igor Pokrajac in a light heavyweight division contest.
Herman made the announcement himself via Twitter:
If u haven't heard Sad 2 say I'm out of my fight at #ufc209 with an injury 1st time I have ever pulled out of @ufc fight all B back soon %

UFC officials are seeking a replacement for Herman, but nothing has been announced at this time.
Pokrajac (24-13-0) has been winless thus far in his second run with the UFC, having dropped a fight to Jan Blachowicz at UFC Fight Night 86. Pokrajac’s first run with the UFC last for five years, which saw him pick up some notable wins over James Irvin, Fabio Maldonado and Krzysztof Soszynski. Pokrajac did win a grand total of three fights in between his two UFC runs, but he also hasn’t earned a victory in well over a year’s time.
UFC 209 takes place on Saturday, March 4 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson headlining.
